Nature holds unlimited inspiration for me and it's in nature that my spirit is activated. I am in love with what is known as “the organic line,” the sort of line found in and perfected by nature, the image of the tree and flower gradually coming to dominate my work.
My work reflects my search. I want my work to move away from the everyday and place the viewer into imagination. I want to move to a different space and explore what we don’t see but what we feel. I hope to relay the feeling that originally inspired the work, to move into that energized alternative space where people can fly, birds can talk and flowers can sing.
